Contact Adhesive is a one-component polyurethane adhesive for windscreens that do not require an increased safety guarantee. It is used for fixing the front, rear and side windows to the bodies of cars, vans, railway transport and special purpose vehicles.
Meets the requirements (specification) of Loctite TEROSON PU 8597 HMLC.
The minimum ready time is 1 hour after application, according to FMVSS (USA), and 4 hours according to the most stringent European crash test standard.

Application: Thoroughly clean the surfaces to be bonded from old glue, paint and other coatings, rust, dirt, grease and oil deposits. Degrease the surface of the windscreen opening using 9691 MANNOL Brake Cleaner. Dry. Make sure that there are no damages or defects on the glass surface. To clean the surface and obtain optimal adhesion, it is recommended to sand the glass bonding line with a soft abrasive material. After sanding, clean the surfaces to be bonded using 9974 MANNOL Glass Cleaner and allow the cleaner to dry for 2 minutes. Degrease the surface of the glass using 9691 MANNOL Brake Cleaner. Dry. Apply a thin layer of glue to the bonding points on the glass. It is necessary to start applying from the lower edge of the glass in a uniform layer without breaks along the contour and without gaps between the glue layer and the glass. Install the glass in the opening. Press lightly. It is advisable to fix with tape and leave to dry. Complete polymerization of the adhesive takes place within 12 hours. It is advisable not to use the vehicle at this time. The vehicle itself must be on a flat surface. Bonding is desirable to be performed at room temperature and humidity of 50-60 %.
2K-Acryl Fixed Bond is a universal two-component acrylic adhesive for fast and strong bonding of surfaces made of any metals and alloys (steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, magnesium, tin, lead, titanium, etc.) and any plastics (including PVC, ABS, nylon, polycarbonate, plexiglass, polyester resins, polyurethane), as well as ceramics, porcelain, rubber, wood with minimal surface preparation. It can be used both in the repair of cars and other equipment, and in industry, at home and in the office, for furniture repair, etc.
It is used for filling cracks, cavities and potholes, incorrectly drilled holes, repairing damaged threads both internal and external, as well as putty for restoring and leveling flat surfaces.

Ideal for quick repairs with long-lasting effects, e.g. for filling cracks and cavities on surfaces of all shapes. Can be used in the repair of vehicles and other machinery as well as in industry, everyday life and offices.
Properties:
– Cures completely in 20-30 minutes at room temperature, after which any mechanical processing is possible;
– After curing it has exceptional elasticity and high durability, which it retains for a long time;
– Has very high adhesive properties;
– Does not change volume during curing – i.e. does not shrink;
– Does not contain water and solvents, is odourless;
– Thixotropic: When applied, it does not run without external influences;
– Absolutely resistant to water, mould and fungal micro-organisms, oil products;
– Resistant to weather influences and ageing. Withstands temperatures from -60 °C to +120 °C.
Application:
1. Thoroughly clean the surfaces to be bonded of old paint and other coatings, dirt, grease and oil deposits. Remove burrs on the front side with a file and shape the pierced surface evenly forming a chamfer. Grind the damaged area with sandpaper within a radius of 5-7 cm around the perimeter of the piercing or the cracks.
2. Degrease using 9691 MANNOL Brake Cleaner. Roughen the surfaces for best results. Allow to dry.
3. Apply an appropriately sized mesh to the inside of the hole or crack to be treated, overlapping the edges of the hole by at least 5 cm. For large holes it is recommended to apply a second layer of mesh, additionally overlapping the first layer by 50 %. On the front side, apply the foil supplied with the kit to the surface to be treated.
Bonding can take place at any temperature and humidity conditions, however a temperature of +10 to +30 °C and a humidity of 50-60 % is optimal.
4. Squeeze out the required quantity of the two components from the double syringe and mix well. The mixing ratio is 1:1. Apply the mixture on the inner side of the reinforcing mesh over the entire treated surface. Smooth out the applied layer with a trowel, taking care not to apply excessive force to avoid squeezing the compound onto the front side.
5. After 10 minutes, remove the foil from the front side, allow the compound to harden and apply MANNOL Epoxy-Plastic 9904 to the treated surface in preparation for further painting.
Setting time 4-6 minutes after mixing. After 8-10 minutes the adhesive is already resistant to deformation. Complete curing takes 20-30 minutes, depending on the surrounding temperature. Do not apply the product at temperatures below 0 °C. Store tightly closed in the original packaging in a cool, dry place at temperatures between +5 °C and +25 °C.

Application: Remove the mirror from the mounting plate, if the design provides for it. Mark the initial position of the plate / foot (bracket) on the outside of the windscreen. Thoroughly clean the surfaces to be bonded from glue residues, dirt, grease and oil deposits. For degreasing, we recommend using 9691 MANNOL Brake Cleaner. Carefully unpack the activator& cleaner napkin. Try not to touch the napkin, use the packaging as a cover, as indicated on the packaging of the napkin. Use it to wipe the area of the glass that will be in contact with the mounting plate/foot (bracket) of the mirror. The plate/leg (bracket) itself does not need to be wiped. Allow the activator to dry for 1-2 minutes. Apply only one large drop of glue to the middle of the plate/leg (bracket), do not spread it over the surface. Press firmly and hold for 1-2 minutes until the glue hardens. Wait 15 minutes before installing the mirror on the mounting plate.

Complete polymerization and complete curing of the adhesive takes place within 24 hours. The car is suitable for driving after 1 hour, but in order to avoid displacement of the glass, which can subsequently lead to excessive internal stresses, and then cracks, it is advisable not to use the car at this time.
